The work and social context in which we live has become increasingly complex and is evolving rapidly.
Social media and other digital platforms have changed how we navigate and maintain relationships, use language, share stories and build community. Similarly, the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) at home and work has had a profound impact.
We know working within this context can be challenging.
With this in mind, dapaanz is pleased to release two guidance documents to support our members in their practice and mahi:
- Guidelines on the use of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Online conduct and digital communications guidelines
The publication of these documents follows research into guidance by allied professions. We have also sought legal advice to ensure these are appropriate and current, and in line with NZ legislation. We have taken time to make sure the changes are reflected by and in line with Tikanga Matatika, and we have received feedback from our Practice Standards Committee.
Due to the rapid evolution of technology and the way people use it, we intend to review these guidelines every 12 months to ensure that they are current and relevant.
